About Silver Thorn Safaris
Silver Thorn Safaris is a family-owned African safari operation founded by Benton, Brenden and Armand Davies. Its name was inspired by the Karoo sweet thorn, whose magnificent silver thorns resemble the long horns of the oryx.
The team combines more than four decades of African hunting knowledge with professional guiding, careful planning, conservation values and genuine family hospitality. Every safari is tailored around the client’s preferred species, hunting method, pace, travel party and wider African ambitions.
Experiences include rifle and bow hunting, fishing safaris, bird hunting, touring, photographic safaris and junior hunts across South Africa and selected African destinations.
