About Doddsy's Hunting
Doddsy's Hunting is a family-owned and operated New Zealand outfitter based at Lake Hawea, close to Wanaka and Queenstown. Barry and Tony Dodds have grown up hunting the region and guide clients through some of the South Island's most spectacular trophy terrain.
The experience is built around more than the hunt. Guests are welcomed with genuine Kiwi family hospitality, comfortable lodge accommodation, exceptional home-cooked meals, and the freedom to combine the hunt with sightseeing, jet boating, wine tours, helicopter flights, fishing, glacier walks and other Southern Lakes adventures.
Hunters can pursue red stag, fallow buck, Himalayan bull tahr, chamois, elk / wapiti and Arapawa ram. Doddsy's also offers flexible, tailored hunts, alpine camp-outs and family-friendly options for accompanying non-hunters.
